Finally it all comes down to, who was able to bring the imagination/energy/love more purely/succesfully to physical reality. For me, Beatles – it’s more down Earth. If we start comparing.
But leaving that be – both were successful with this, I quess.

this is the closest match ive heard so far-the keyboard is a copycat especially, and if you listen to the full karma police, radiohead come in and sing at the same moments as they do in sexie sady quite often. many radiohead fans wont be happy and arguing they are completely different..unless they enjoy both bands lol, as I do!

I suppose what hardly anyone on these comments is understanding is: This is INTENTIONAL and not a happy accident. It’s completely on purpose. Radiohead actually talks about where they got this song from in interviews during the release of OK Computer. These comment sections are hilarious.

Green Day did several albums like this…. the first one is called Warning. Of course the Strokes sounds like that one Tom Petty song. Of course that really shitty band, inappropriately called Fun sounds like a SImon & Garfunkel song.

They should remove the comment section on this thing. People who really listen to music and listen to entire records knew this stuff before blogs and the internet existed.

Not the same melody at all, not the same chord progression, the only similarity is that there are piano fioritures at the end of verses.

Ironicly for “Karma Police”, it kinda sounds like two John Lennon songs, Which of course was from The Beatles, and is the one who sung and wrote this song. It kinda sounds like “Out the Blue” and “Free as a Bird”, And alot of people say that “Out the Blue” reminds them of “Sexy Sadie”! (Sorry, i’m a BIG Beatles fan. lol)
